Coronation Street and Emmerdale in schedule shake-up this weekend with another unusual episode slot

Viewers of Coronation Street and Emmerdale should be aware that the showtimes are changing again next week.

These two shows usually air every weeknight for half an hour, with Emmerdale typically starting at 8pm and Coronation Street right after at 8:30pm.

Both shows have been moved from their regular time next Tuesday, April 14th, to allow ITV to broadcast the England versus Spain FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027 Qualifier.

The episodes have been moved to this Sunday. You can watch Emmerdale on ITV at 7pm, and Coronation Street at 7:30pm right after.

Fans will be pleased to hear that the episodes will air in their usual slots from next Wednesday.

Next week on Coronation Street, a beloved local landmark will be destroyed by fire. Meanwhile, Todd Grimshaw will head to the police to report Theo Silverton.

There’ll also be trouble for Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) on the horizon as she confronts Carl.

Next week on Emmerdale, Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) will get some good news. Evidence will surface proving she wasn’t part of the human trafficking operation involving Celia Daniels.

Paddy Dingle will face upsetting news when Detective Sergeant Walsh shares a new idea: that Bear Wolf intentionally killed Ray Walters. This is just one of several major events unfolding.

Coronation Street airs weeknights at 8:30pm and from 7am on ITVX.

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 8pm on ITV1 and from 7am on ITVX.
