In Coronation Street, young Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan) is struggling emotionally. This comes after weeks of being blackmailed by Megan Walsh (Beth Nixon), who is exploiting Will Driscoll (Lucas Hodgson-Wale).
They were having a secret affair and did everything they could to stop Sam from revealing what he knew. Sam tried desperately to prove he was telling the truth, even going so far as to secretly install a camera in her apartment, but Megan fiercely threatened to reveal his actions, stopping him in his tracks.
After everything that happened, I started relying on ADHD medication just to cope with the stress, and it eventually led to me collapsing right there on the street. It was a really scary time, honestly.
Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) noticed her stepson was struggling with more than just schoolwork and decided to investigate what was really going on.
Sam confessed everything, and the Driscolls went to the police to report Megan. However, without enough proof, they couldn’t file charges against her.

Earlier this week, Will’s stepmother, Eva Price, asked him to apologize to Sam for the pain he caused. She explained that Sam is in counseling to cope with what happened.
Eva and Leanne were relieved when the teens appeared to drop the issue, but Will later changed his story and warned Sam to be cautious. As fans of the show know, Will is still secretly seeing Megan and remains deeply in love with her.

Today on the show, Will was walking with his new friend Liam Connor (played by Charlie Wrenshall) and they ran into Sam. Liam was curious about Sam’s relationship with their PE teacher, which is understandable.
Will tried to avoid answering Sam’s questions. When Sam firmly said he wouldn’t tolerate any more bullying, Will acted like he didn’t understand what Sam was referring to. Later, Will went home and told Eva that Sam had accused him of being a bully.
Eva rushed to the Viaduct Bistro, determined to explain to Leanne that Sam was digging himself into a deeper hole and clear up the misunderstanding.

Nick Tilsley, Sam’s father, overheard the argument between the sisters and cautioned Eva to keep Will from seeing Sam, believing Will was telling the truth about what happened.
That evening, Sam got some fries from For Your Fries Only and then noticed Will on the other side of the street. He started following him, but when he looked away from the sidewalk, he tripped on a cobblestone and fell.
Nick hurried to see if Will was alright, but when he couldn’t find him, Sam had to act fast and take his place.
How far will Will go to shut Sam down?
