
The Looney Tunes have been popular for decades, but surprisingly few full-length movies have actually been made starring the characters—though collections of their classic shorts were shown in theaters from 1975 to 1991. That’s why Coyote vs. Acme, a funny movie about Wile E. Coyote taking the Acme Corporation to court after years of bad luck, generated so much excitement. It was a unique and promising comedy, so many were upset when Warner Bros. decided to cancel its release for tax reasons. Luckily, Ketchup Entertainment stepped in to save the completed film, and it will finally be released in theaters this summer.
