If you get stuck on puzzles while floating in the air during the beginning of Crimson Desert’s story, specifically the ‘Abyss Without Balance’ quest, that’s normal! Many players have trouble with them.
Crimson Desert doesn’t offer much guidance, even when you’re first starting out. You’ll need to learn things yourself, or seek help from the community if you get stuck!
After completing the Polar Opposites quest, here’s how to create the Abyss Cell for the Abyss Without Balance quest in Crimson Desert.
Crimson Desert Abyss Without Balance: How to synthesize the Abyss Cell explained
At the start of the Abyss Without Balance quest section, use Axiom Force to pick up the blue cube floating in the middle of the area.
Take it to the stone pillar next to the pit to turn the lantern back on and make the floor disappear.

Use Axiom Force to pull the floating tile down. Then, move it to the glowing blue slot on the wall to your right.
So, I just stick the tile into the wall slot – doesn’t have to be perfect, honestly – and boom, an Abyss Cell is created. It’s pretty forgiving with the placement, which is nice!
Go and observe the blue figure near the Abyss Cell—they’re demonstrating the Force Palm technique.

Press and hold the right analogue stick down (or middle mouse on PC) to charge up your Force Palm.
Okay, so you basically want me to target the Abyss Cell and blast it against the wall – that finishes the ‘Synthesize the Abyss Cell’ part of the mission, which is awesome!
Now, jump out of the pit and head over to the giant circular device on the far wall.
Climb onto the middle of the device and use your Force Palm ability to activate it, finishing the Abyss Without Balance quest.
