Cronos: The New Dawn, the sci-fi horror game from Bloober Team, will receive an update next year that adds a new, easier difficulty option for players who are finding the game challenging.
This update introduces Temporal Diver difficulty, which will be more forgiving than the current difficulty options in the game.
We don’t have many specifics right now, but it appears a new mode is coming for players who enjoy the story but struggle with the combat.
I was really excited to hear Bloober Team talk about Cronos: The New Dawn! They said they built it to be a challenging game, which is great. But what I love even more is that they’re adding a new difficulty setting so you can really take your time and soak in the story at your own pace. It sounds like they want us to enjoy the narrative as much as the gameplay, and that’s awesome!

I checked out this game recently, and honestly, it’s pretty good! It got decent reviews, but it feels like not a lot of people know about it, which is a shame. It’s an action adventure where you travel through time and fight enemies – and those enemies are really annoying because they can combine and get even tougher!
Hopefully making the game a little more approachable will widen its appeal a little.
Have you tried out Cronos: The New Dawn? We’re curious about what you thought of the game’s difficulty – let us know in the comments!
