The upcoming season will bring back the original voice actors. Shizutaka Sugahara will direct at Brains Base, the same studio that worked on season four, and Noboru Takagi is returning to write the scripts for the final story arc. Takumi Yamakawa will once again handle the character designs, and the anime will be distributed by WOWOW. The theme song from the Golden Kamuy: Sapporo Beer Factory prequel films – “Kogane no Kanata” by Awich × ALI – will also be used for the final episodes.
