Certain anime series consistently rank among fans’ favorites. Titles like Attack on Titan, Fullmetal Alchemist, and Cowboy Bebop have proven to be enduringly popular within the anime community. Many fans also consider Code Geass to be one of the best anime series ever made, and with a recent sequel, Crunchyroll is now heavily investing in the franchise with a new release.
Crunchyroll is bringing the classic anime series Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion to Blu-ray next February. They’ll release the series in two parts, with Season 1 and Season 2 available separately. This release celebrates the 20th anniversary of the show, which comes from the studio behind hits like Mobile Suit Gundam and Cowboy Bebop. Fans can relive the story of Lelouch, an exiled prince who gains the power to control others and aims to change the world, starting February 3, 2026. Each Blu-ray set will include a unique art card – Lelouch for Season 1 and Suzaku Kururugi for Season 2 – plus bonus content like Japanese cast commentaries and mini-episodes.
