Crunchyroll is now the leading streaming service for anime lovers worldwide. Since its launch in 2017, it quickly became popular, offering a huge library of anime series and movies you won’t find many other places. This includes all the latest seasonal anime releases every three months. Each week, Crunchyroll adds new episodes, with options for subtitles or dubbing, depending on your region. Because so many popular seasonal anime end up on Crunchyroll, it’s become a go-to source for fans to discover and watch new shows. Building on this success, Crunchyroll also launched a manga platform for fans in the US and Canada. You can read manga through the Crunchyroll Manga app (available on iOS and Android) or on the web – the web version launched just a week after the app last October.
The manga platform is working to bring more series to readers, especially from popular publishers like Kodansha. The manga subscription is available as an addition to current membership levels or is already included for Ultimate Fan subscribers. Every month, the platform adds many well-known titles, and June 8th, 2026, will be no exception. Crunchyroll’s website recently announced the new lineup, featuring global favorites like Fairy Tail, A Silent Voice, and other exciting series.

Finally, A Silent Voice remains popular thanks to its beautiful movie adaptation and continues to resonate with audiences after ten years.
This list features some fantastic stories that don’t get enough attention, including The Drops of God, which recently got an anime adaptation this April. Other hidden gems like Ajin: Demi-Human and Ace of the Diamond are also worth watching. Be sure to look for updates on June 8th, 2026.
