Following the launch of Patch 2.3 for Cyberpunk 2077, it appears that CD Projekt RED is hinting at something more. On September 4th, their official Twitter account posted a message from President Rosalind Myers, a significant character in the Phantom Liberty expansion, inviting citizens of N.U.S.A. to participate in a “recruitment test.”
As a fearless gamer, I’m stepping up to tackle the growing cybersecurity issue that’s been lurking in the darkness, too afraid to show their faces. These hidden enemies are spreading chaos, and it’s time for brave gamers like us, known as Netrunners, to rally together and put a stop to this dangerous threat. We’re not just playing games here; we’re making a difference!
Amelia Korzycka, a senior community manager, has confirmed that there are neither additional patches nor DLC (Downloadable Content) coming up. So, fans will just have to wait till September 4th to learn more.
During this period, CD Projekt has shared that their teams working on both The Witcher 4 and the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077, known as Project Orion, are expanding. However, given the typical development timeline, it’s estimated that Cyberpunk’s successor is at least four to five years from release. Notably, Mike Pondsmith, the creator of Cyberpunk, has verified that this new project will showcase a completely different city, akin to Chicago in a state of disarray.
Important message for N.U.S.A. Citizens from President Rosalind Myers.

All I can say is it’s not the DLC and it’s not the patch.
