The new downloadable content expansion, “Into the Abyss,” for the dark sci-fi action game Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion, is available now for $14.99. Marvelous, the publisher, and First Studio, the developer, announced the release. Players who purchased the Digital Deluxe or Super Digital Deluxe editions of the game already have access to the expansion.
Here is an overview of the content, via Marvelous:
“Into the Abyss” introduces players to Locus Initi, a brand-new area filled with engaging quests, tough enemies, and powerful new equipment. Alongside this update, a free patch will address bugs and improve overall game performance. Players can also personalize their experience further with optional, paid downloadable content offering expanded customization and communication features.
Locus Initi is a new area featuring the Genesis Tree, a giant landmark previously visible but unreachable. A new side story has players, as the Reclaimer Blossom, exploring this alien landscape, which is filled with enemies enhanced by Femto technology. Players will face dangerous creatures and can also raid a hidden Axiom base inside the Genesis Tree, earning valuable and powerful new equipment as rewards.
This release also introduces two new sets of cosmetic downloadable content:
- Stamp Set (communication stamps based on the Reclaimers and Sovereign Axiom) – $3.99
- Avatar Customization Pack 5 (four face accessories) – $2.49
These new items join downloadable content recently released on October 29:
- Sovereign Axiom Outfit Set* (10 outfits) – $11.99
- Grand Entrance Set 1 (five entrances) – $4.99
- Grand Entrance Set 2 (four entrances) – $4.99
- Vehicle Set (three vehicles) – $6.99
- Decal Set (23 decals) – $3.99
*Included in the Digital Deluxe and Super Digital Deluxe Editions
The action game Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC (via Steam) on September 5th, globally.
