Dakota Johnson Joins Lily Allen in Surprise SNL Appearance

Dakota Johnson cha cha’d real smooth onto the Saturday Night Live stage.

Actress Emma Corrin unexpectedly joined Lily Allen on stage during Lily’s performance on Saturday Night Live on December 13th. Corrin appeared as a character in Lily Allen’s song, “Madeline,” during the episode hosted by Josh O’Connor.

During the performance, 36-year-old Dakota relaxed on a bed partially hidden by sheer curtains while Lily sang a song about a woman facing her husband’s affair with someone named Madeline. Dakota’s identity as the ‘other woman’ wasn’t revealed until the end, when she walked up behind 40-year-old Lily and gently kissed her cheek.

During the performance, Dakota spoke the lines as if they were text messages from a character.

“He’s telling you the truth,” she said, acting as Madeline. “Our relationship has always been purely physical – there’s no emotional connection. We only communicate when we’re together, and he always speaks highly of you.”

Lily, who finalized her divorce from David Harbour in 2024, often questioned whether she could believe Madeline. However, the character Madeline ultimately showed herself to be a supportive and trustworthy friend to other women.

Honestly, seeing someone in pain is the worst, and I was really upset to learn I might be contributing to that. I was told everything was above board – that you knew what was happening and had agreed to it. If that’s not true, please tell me. I have zero tolerance for dishonesty, and I absolutely don’t want to be involved in anything built on lies. It’s just not something I can support.

Madeline said, “Feel free to contact me whenever you need to – whether you have more questions or just want to talk. Sending you good vibes!”

Dakota Johnson made a surprise appearance wearing a classic little black lace dress, layered with a sparkly, see-through robe. She completed the outfit with a bold green necklace and her trademark bangs.

Dakota often chooses bold and revealing outfits, and during a June 2025 appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, her daring style almost led to a wardrobe malfunction.

She arrived on set wearing a short black dress with a low neckline and immediately said, “Oh, my goodness!”

Dakota added as she fixed her near-fashion emergency, “This was the wrong outfit.”

Dakota didn’t seem bothered by the wardrobe issue at all, and playfully told the host, “I’ll just make sure to stand up straight.”
