The cast of Dancing With the Stars knows it takes two to tango.
Prior to the start of season 34 on ABC’s competition series, a total of 14 celebrity contestants such as Robert Irwin, Alix Earle, and Whitney Leavitt, among others, have been paired with the professional dancers who will guide them in their dance routines during the fall season.
Certainly, Alix kicked off her collaboration with Valentin Chmerkovskiy by sharing a glimpse of their palpable camaraderie with her audience.
On September 3rd, a video was posted on TikTok featuring Valentin, who whirled the influencer in a stunning array of vibrant purple outfits. The accompanying caption from Alix simply read “Surprise!!
That very day, Robert unveiled the identity of his partner, and lo and behold, Witney Carson appeared from behind him in a TikTok clip synchronized with Cortisia Star’s “Fun” song.
He added in the caption, “LETS GO WITNEY.”
Instead, some fans anticipated that Robert might partner with dancer Rylee Arnold, but instead, he found his ideal dance partner in Scott Hoying from Pentatonix.
Rylee shared with TopMob News that she felt an instant connection with her partner upon meeting. As soon as he walked through the door, they hit it off. A crucial element in their dance partnership, Rylee explained, is ensuring they both enjoy each other’s company and appreciate one another.
Just like that, the actress from the “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” series couldn’t hide her joy upon learning she would perform with Mark Ballas, who is making a comeback to the show after his announcement of retirement following his season 31 victory partnered with Charli D’Amelio.

Upon seeing it was Mark, as surprised as a gap-mouthed fish, Whitney recalled to People, described the internal turmoil she experienced at that moment. “Externally, I tried to keep calm, keep calm, keep calm. Yet, inside, I was far from composed – I was practically in a state of panic.
Speaking of who else is teaming up, here are some pairs: Jen Affleck with Jan Ravnik, Hilaria Baldwin with Gleb Savchenko, Jordan Chiles with Ezra Sosa, Baron Davis with Britt Stewart, Dylan Efron with Danielle Karagach, Corey Feldman with Jenna Johnson, Danielle Fishel with Pasha Pashkov, Elaine Hendrix with Alan Bernsten, Lauren Jauregui with Brandon Armstrong, and Andy Richter with Emma Slater.
