Sadly, it was time for two couples to boogie off the dance floor.
During the September 23rd episode of *Dancing With the Stars*, two couples were eliminated-a first for the show. Hosts Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro delivered the news to the affected stars and their professional partners.
After all the performances and combined scores from the judges and viewers, Corey Feldman, Hilaria Baldwin, and Baron Davis received the lowest scores. In the end, Corey Feldman and Jenna Johnson, and Baron Davis and Britt Stewart were eliminated, while Hilaria Baldwin and Gleb Savchenko will continue on to the next week of the competition.
Both Baron and Corey were upset they weren’t able to help their professional partners win. Corey felt particularly bad for Jenna, saying she consistently deserved to win the competition.
Baron thanked Britt for motivating him, saying he hadn’t received coaching in a long time and really appreciated the push to get going.
As a lifestyle expert, I have to say, the energy was *high* last night! Four contestants really wowed the judges – Derek Hough, Bruno Tonioli, and Carrie Ann Inaba, who was so happy to be back after missing the first show – and they all earned a perfect 22 out of 30! It was a fantastic performance from each of them.
The couples who excelled were Robert Irwin and Witney Carson, Olympic gymnast Jordan Chiles with Ezra Sosa, Whitney Leavitt and Mark Ballas from *Secret Lives of Mormon Wives*, and Jen Affleck with Jan Ravnik.
Robert and Witney have earned the highest scores for the second week in a row, which is surprising considering how their first performance went.
Witney was amazed after the show premiered on September 16th, telling *TopMob News*, “It’s incredible that you’re competing with professional dancers and doing so well – you’re right up there with them! It really shows how much effort you’ve put in.”
Robert agreed, giving credit to his pro partner, “I think we’re a good team.”
Witney and the 21-year-old work so well together that Witney has started giving him dating advice, and Bindi Irwin is helping her!
Okay, so after the week two episode, Witney actually *said* she’d take all our applications via DM and pass them on to Bindi! Can you believe it?! She was totally joking, of course, but then she added, ‘And then, then we will see about the American tourist!’ Oh my gosh, is she hinting at something? Is Bindi going to *actually* consider fans?! I’m already drafting my application, I need to be ready!

After the second episode, Witney playfully told TopMob News that people could send their applications by direct message, and she would pass them along to Bindi. She then added with a laugh that they’d see what they could do about the ‘American tourist’.
