As a fervent admirer, I can hardly contain my excitement as we eagerly count down the days to the arrival of Daredevil: Born Again Season 2. Recently, our beloved showrunner Dario Scardapane has graced us with an enticing update on the production and release timeline for this anticipated second season. In a heartwarming gesture, this seasoned television producer shared some enlightening insights about the progress of filming for the sequel, as well as shedding light on its scheduled premiere date.
Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 could easily make its 2026 release date window
On July 9th, Dario Scardapane shared a photo of a bobble-head figure resembling himself via his Instagram account. It’s believed that this unique gift came from Michael Shaw and the art department of Daredevil: Born Again’s team. In addition to sharing the picture, he wrote an extensive caption confirming that filming for Season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again has now been completed. This suggests that the upcoming season should be able to stick to its planned release window.
In the post, Scardapane concluded, “And that wraps up Season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again! A big thank you to everyone who made this an extraordinary experience. I want to specifically acknowledge the talented cast and crew with a heartfelt gratitude. Their hard work and dedication truly make them the best cast and crew ever.
As a dedicated fan, I couldn’t contain my excitement when Scardapane announced that Season 2 of Born Again would hit Disney+ screens in March 2026, just a few months from now! Filming for the second season kicked off back in February 2025 and was planned to wrap up in July. Thanks to Scardapane’s latest update, it seems that production is progressing smoothly according to schedule, which means we can look forward to enjoying Season 2 right on time!
Although there have been recent developments about the production of Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, Marvel Studios hasn’t officially disclosed when the second season will be released.
