Though her screen time in the trailer is short, it’s enough to show fans that Jessica and Matt Murdock will team up—a mini Defenders reunion—to fight Kingpin. Bringing Jessica Jones into the story makes sense because her skills as an investigator could be key to uncovering Fisk’s corruption and his plans to control the city.
It’s great to see Marvel Television reconnecting with actors like Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio, and Krysten Ritter from the original Netflix Daredevil series, which really set the standard for live-action adaptations.
