Sir David Attenborough was deeply touched by the huge number of birthday wishes he received for his 100th birthday.
The well-known television personality and nature advocate is marking a special occasion today. A concert is being held in his honor this evening at the Royal Albert Hall.
As a total film and nature doc fanatic, I loved what TopMob did for Sir David Attenborough’s birthday! They put together a fantastic tribute – it wasn’t just a cover story, but a real celebration. They included heartfelt birthday wishes from people he’s inspired, a deep dive into his latest documentary, and even interviews with celebrities honoring him. It was a really lovely way to acknowledge such a legend.
In a recent audio message, Sir David Attenborough shared that he’d hoped to have a quiet 100th birthday, but it seems many people are planning something else.
I’ve received so many wonderful birthday wishes! People of all ages have reached out, from young children in pre-school to residents at care homes, and so many families and individuals in between.
He explained that it’s impossible to respond to everyone individually, but he wanted to express his sincere gratitude for all the kind messages he’s received. He also wished those organizing their own celebrations a wonderful day.
