A popular disaster film featuring well-known actors is now available to stream again, two years after it first came out.

Released in 2024, Twisters is a fresh take on the 1996 film Twister, acting as both a reboot and a new story. The movie stars Glen Powell, Daisy Edgar-Jones, Anthony Ramos, and David Corenswet, and centers around a former meteorologist who’s drawn back into the dangerous world of storm chasing in Oklahoma to study a series of powerful tornadoes. Critics have given it a 75% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

The movie Twisters earned $372 million in theaters, but when you consider it cost $155 million to make, the profit wasn’t as high as some might expect. Currently, as of February 2nd, Twisters is the 10th most-watched movie in the U.S. on Peacock.
