Krypto, Supergirl’s lovable dog, quickly became a fan favorite in James Gunn’s new Superman movie released in July. Now, he’s back in a series of animated shorts on the DC YouTube channel, trying to help the citizens of Metropolis – though he often creates more problems than he solves! These shorts, called Krypto Saves The Day!, aren’t considered official parts of the Superman story, but they’re still charming and entertaining, showing Krypto getting into mischief when Superman isn’t paying attention. Everyone thought the Krypto Saves the Day! series was finished for the year, but DC surprised fans with one last short! A new adventure called Package Pandemonium is now available on YouTube, offering a festive holiday story featuring Krypto the Superdog. It’s not a major Superman story, but it’s perfect for young fans—and a fun extra dose of superhero action for everyone!
According to the official description, Krypto Saves the Day! is full of super-powered fun for everyone, tackling everything from school bus emergencies to Spring Break mishaps and even Halloween candy problems. You can watch the shorts – “School Bus Scuffle,” “Halloween Havoc,” and “Package Pandemonium” – on YouTube now. A new episode, “Coastal Catastrophe,” will arrive in early 2026.
