DC Comics is running a big event called DC K.O., where Earth’s heroes and villains are fighting to become King Omega. Whoever wins will have the power to save the universe from Darkseid. The story has been developing in both the Superman comic and Justice League Unlimited. In Justice League Unlimited, the remaining League members are facing unusually powerful villains. It turns out a demon named Neron is behind the power boost. With most heroes and villains busy preparing for a battle with Darkseid and evacuating Earth, a strange new team of Leaguers is formed.
Okay, so the newest Justice League lineup came about after this crazy storyline called “We Are Yesterday.” Basically, Gorilla Grodd pulled villains from the past – the whole Legion of Doom! – into the present, all to grab this thing called the Omega Rift. That rift was created when Darkseid was, well, destroyed in the DC All-In #1 event. “We Are Yesterday” was a total mind-bender, and it left us with multiple versions of the League members hanging around. A lot of those duplicates have gone back to their own timelines, but nine of them are sticking around. Now, Mister Terrific has recruited them for a really dangerous mission – one that’s going to take them all the way to Hell!
This New Justice League Team Combines the Best Versions of DC’s Coolest Heroes

Over the years, many Justice League teams have been formed, but the one featured in “The Terrific Ten” stands out as the most unique. This team brought together alternate versions of familiar heroes, including a 1990s Aquaman, an Electric Blue Superman, Guy Gardner as Warrior, Tim Drake in the Batman Beyond suit, Alan Scott’s Green Lantern from Kingdom Come, a previous version of Power Girl, a future Hawkman known as Gold Hawk from the 31st century, the 31st-century Doctor Fate, and Owlwoman from the far future (853rd century). Each member was essentially pulled from a crucial moment in the life of their present-day League counterpart.
This Justice League roster features many familiar heroes – a Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, a magic-user, Hawk, Aquaman, a powerful Wonder Woman analogue, Guy Gardner, and a character who’s a bit of a wildcard. The team’s blend of strength and experience makes them ideal for confronting Neron in Hell, given their diverse powers. It’s a fantastic lineup that offers exciting possibilities for the story in “The Terrific Ten,” particularly considering Neron’s habit of granting people their deepest desires. The question is, will any of the Leaguers succumb to temptation? Or will they all be corrupted? This team is perfectly suited for this particular narrative.
