The Canadian crime drama Saint-Pierre, featuring Joséphine Jobert (known for her role in Death in Paradise), premiered on CBC over a year ago. Now, a UK release date has finally been announced.
The new series, featuring Allan Hawco of Jack Ryan, will debut on U&Alibi in the UK on April 23, 2026, at 8 PM.
As a big fan of this show, I’m excited it’s finally coming to the UK! They’ve already aired two full seasons up in Canada, but here we get to start right at the beginning. The first episode does a great job introducing you to the two main characters: Donny ‘Fitz’ Fitzpatrick and Deputy Chief Geneviève ‘Arch’ Archambault. It’s a perfect way to jump in and get to know them both.
Police Inspector Donny Fitzpatrick, known as Fitz, uncovers wrongdoing by a politician and is transferred as punishment to the small French islands of Saint-Pierre et Miquelon. His arrival shakes things up for Genevieve Archambault, the Deputy Chief who has her own hidden motives for being there.
The story follows two experienced detectives who are unexpectedly partnered to investigate unusual and captivating crimes. Despite the islands appearing like a peaceful paradise for tourists, a dark undercurrent of criminal activity lurks beneath the surface, often appearing on its stunning beaches.
Arch and Fitz initially didn’t trust each other, but they quickly realized they worked better as a team.
Let me tell you, “Saint-Pierre” boasts a fantastic ensemble cast! You’ve got Benz Antoine, Erika Prevost, and Jean-Michel Le Gal bringing some real depth, alongside terrific performances from Tamara Podemski, James Purefoy, Maxim Roy, and Tim Rozon. It’s a group that really elevates the whole film.

Josie Jobert played Florence in Death in Paradise from 2015 to 2019 (seasons 4 through 8), then again in 2021 and 2022 for seasons 10 and 11. She recently returned in 2024 for season 13, and her character Florence sailed away with Neville (Ralf Little), as both characters left the show.
Saint-Pierre airs on U&Alibi from 8pm on 23 April 2026.
