Fans of Demon Slayer experienced a huge year in 2025 with the release of the first movie in the Infinity Castle trilogy. The film broke box office records, earning over 100 billion yen after premiering in Japan in July and internationally in September. It quickly became the highest-grossing anime film ever made, building excitement for the next installment. Before the Infinity Castle film, Demon Slayer: Mugen Train was the most successful anime film, released in 2020. While it frequently returns to Japanese theaters for special showings, it’s now available to stream for free on a North American platform.
As reported by Anime News Network, the movie is now available to stream on Amasian TV in both Japanese with English subtitles and an English dub. Best of all, you can watch it for free on demand without a subscription! It’s also showing on Amasian TV’s Anime 24/7 FAST channel, which is free with ads.
Demon Slayer: Mugen Train Is Still One of The Successful Anime Films of All Time

Released in 2020, Infinity Train quickly became the highest-grossing anime film ever made, surpassing Studio Ghibli’s beloved Spirited Away. However, it was later overtaken by the first film in the Infinity Castle series. Infinity Train centers around Rengoku’s solo mission to destroy a demon responsible for the vanishing of numerous train passengers.
Tanjiro and his friends eventually arrive to help. They discover the cause of the recent troubles is an Upper Moon Six demon with a unique power. Although they manage to defeat this demon, their victory is short-lived when a much stronger Upper Rank Three demon appears. The events on the Mugen Train are both heartbreaking and contain some of the most memorable scenes in the entire series.
Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Trilogy Hasn’t Shared Any Updates on Part 2 Yet

The first movie in the Infinity Castle series showcased intense battles with Zenitsu, Tanjiro, Giyu, and Shinobu taking center stage. With their fights now over, the story will shift to characters like Kanao Tsuyuri and the remaining Hashira, who are also stuck in the endless castle. Despite the movie being out for months, the animation studio hasn’t released any new information yet.
Plus, the first part of the series isn’t available to stream anywhere yet because it’s still being shown in theaters worldwide, which is delaying its release on streaming services. These theatrical screenings are expected to wrap up in April, and that might lead to some news about the entire film trilogy. While fans are hoping for a new image or a short preview sometime this year, there are no confirmed plans for that just yet.
