The movie “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba The Movie: Infinity Castle” is about to premiere in Japan, and the creators Ufotable and Aniplex have recently unveiled a fresh glimpse of our beloved compassionate Demon Slayer, Tanjiro Kamado. “Infinity Castle” will hit Japanese theaters on July 18th, with tickets for early screenings already sold out. Regrettably, fans in the West will need to wait until September 12th for the release in the US, UK, and Canada. Until then, we’ll try our best to steer clear of spoilers online for the following two months, but the official “Demon Slayer” social media platforms and website are keeping us engaged with new previews, such as one for Tanjiro’s birthday celebration.
It’s anticipated that “Infinity Castle” will be the largest anime film of this year, perhaps even in history. At present, “Mugen Train,” released in 2020, holds the title for the highest-grossing anime movie ever, surpassing both Studio Ghibli’s “Spirited Away” and Makoto Shinkai’s “Your Name.” However, “Demon Slayer” has some stiff competition from “Chainsaw Man: The Movie – Reze Arc,” opening in October. Considering the massive fanbase of “Demon Slayer,” it’s predicted to break past “Mugen Train”‘s record.
Demon Slayer Says Happy Birthday to Tanjiro

Ufotable is known for posting special illustrations of popular characters from “Demon Slayer” on birthdays and holidays, and this year, it’s Tanjiro’s turn! The official “Demon Slayer” website just released a new promotion wishing Tanjiro a happy birthday as he readies himself to battle Muzan within the Infinity Castle.
In the promotional image, a miniaturized version of Tanjiro, dressed in white and green, positions himself centrally. On either side, there are two heart-shaped balloons: one bears the message “Tanjiro K. 7.14,” while the other celebrates his birthday with the simple words, “Happy Birthday.
Demon Slayer Is Coming to an End!

For followers of “Demon Slayer,” the unveiling of “Infinity Castle” is a mix of joy and sadness, as it signifies the start of the franchise’s conclusion. Originating from the manga by Kohoharu Gotoge, Ufotable’s anime debuted in 2018, captivating audiences worldwide with its first season. The success continued with “Mugen Train” at the box office and the Entertainment District Arc (Season 3), which left viewers spellbound with its extraordinary action sequences. Some might rather skip over the Swordsmith Village Arc (Season 4) and the Hashira Training Arc (Season 5).
The first film in a fresh trilogy, titled “Infinity Castle”, contributes to completing the tale of “Demon Slayer”. As of now, no specific release dates or timeframes have been disclosed for the subsequent two films.
