Founded in 2000, Ufotable is an animation studio responsible for a number of distinctive anime series and movies. Before the massive success of Demon Slayer, Ufotable was a respected studio, but not as widely known as established companies like Toei Animation, or newer studios like MAPPA, which gained popularity with hits such as Jujutsu Kaisen and Attack on Titan. While Demon Slayer brought Ufotable mainstream attention, the studio had already built a following with projects like Fate/Zero and The Garden of Sinners. Ufotable’s popularity has continued to grow, and it’s now the studio behind the highest-grossing anime film ever, Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle. Though Ufotable doesn’t release many anime each year, everything it creates is celebrated for its stunning visuals. Currently, the studio is working on four new anime projects, all of which are eagerly awaited by fans.
