The anime film Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle has become the highest-grossing anime movie ever made, earning a huge amount of money in theaters. That could change soon, though, as Crunchyroll has announced a big summer event that might finally bring Demon Slayer to streaming services.
I’m excited to share that Crunchyroll is hosting a Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle Celebration at Anime Expo on July 3rd. They’re bringing together the Japanese voice actors for a special event looking back at the Infinity Castle movie. Natsuki Hanae (Tanjiro), Takahiro Sakurai (Giyu), and Saori Hayami (Shinobu) will all be there—it’ll be Hayami-san’s first time at Anime Expo! Plus, Ufotable will be showing a special video from the Infinity Castle release and even a sneak peek at their newest film project. It sounds like a must-see for any Demon Slayer or Ufotable fan!
Will Infinity Castle Announce Its Streaming Debut?
I’m really hoping we get a release date for Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle on a streaming service at Anime Expo! It feels like the perfect time – the movie’s first anniversary is just around the corner. We’ve already seen Chainsaw Man The Movie: The Reze Arc land on Crunchyroll even after its theatrical run, so fans like me are super eager to find out when we can stream Tanjiro’s latest adventure. But honestly, I’m expecting even more exciting news from the event – it’s always full of surprises!
Currently, anime fans have very little information about the final two movies in the Demon Slayer series, which will conclude Ufotable’s production. While no release dates or titles have been announced, a combined reveal of these details alongside the streaming date for Infinity Castle would be a major event in 2026. Considering the events of Infinity Castle and the battles still to come for the Demon Slayer Corps, these next two films have the potential to be even more successful at the box office.
