I’ve been following *Disney Dreamlight Valley* since it first came out in early access back in 2022, and wow, it’s come so far! And it’s not stopping anytime soon – the game is getting even bigger and better in 2025. I just watched the 2025 Showcase, and I’m so excited about everything they revealed! We’re getting four awesome new mounts, plus four characters that fans have been asking for forever! There’s a ton more coming too, it looks incredible.
The next big update for *Disney Dreamlight Valley*, called *Wishblossom Ranch*, will introduce mounts, letting players ride horses around the valley. This isn’t just a faster way to travel – you can also customize your horses and unlock special mounts from classic Disney movies. At launch, you’ll be able to ride Khan (from *Mulan*), Maximus (from *Tangled*), and Pegasus (from *Hercules*), each with their own friendship level to build. Plus, a special version of Sven from *Frozen* will be available if you purchase one of the two versions of the expansion.
You can build and restore your own customizable ranch where you’ll care for your horses by feeding, grooming, and training them to unlock new skills. While riding, you’ll also be able to interact with the world around you – mine resources, clear obstacles, and do all sorts of things you normally would on foot.
The update will bring more than just new mounts! Players can look forward to exploring new areas – biomes – and befriending new animal companions like Geese, Sartorial Skunks, and Sweet Bees. We’re also excited to introduce several highly requested characters to the valley, including Princess Snow White, Cruella De Vil from *101 Dalmatians*, Tinker Bell from *Peter Pan*, and, our personal favorite, the energetic Tigger! Tigger is the first character from *Winnie the Pooh* to come to the game.
Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Second Half of 2025 is Stacked with New Content
Players who join *Wishblossom Ranch* before it officially launches on December 3rd will receive a special bonus: a Springtime Festival Outfit and matching horse accessory. Plus, the game will regularly receive free updates and feature some beloved characters and content.
Disney has announced three major, free updates coming to the game in early 2026. These updates will add characters from *Lady and the Tramp*, *Pocahontas*, and *Hercules*. *Lady and the Tramp* will be the first to arrive in early 2026, followed by *Pocahontas* in the spring, and *Hercules* in the summer.

With the release of *The Winter Ball* update, Cinderella will be joining the game! She’ll come with a brand-new story and special friendship quests for players to complete.
To play *Wishblossom Ranch*, you have a few options. You can download the base expansion for 5,000 Moonstones, or the deluxe expansion for 10,000 Moonstones, which also includes cosmetic items like a rideable Sven mount. Alternatively, you can purchase the standard game for 8,000 Moonstones, the Wishblossom Ranch Edition for 13,000 Moonstones, or the Ultimate Edition for 18,000 Moonstones – this last option includes all other expansions as well.
