The following contains spoilers for Dispatch
Dispatch is a standout game from 2025, and a sequel is already highly anticipated. While the game’s ending provides a satisfying conclusion, it also cleverly sets the stage for future installments. This is common in superhero stories, but it also fits with Dispatch’s focus on the Z-Team’s growth and development as unique heroes.
Although a second season hasn’t been officially confirmed, the creators and actors are hinting that it’s a possibility. They’ve suggested there are plenty of directions the story could take after the season finale. Honestly, after getting so invested in these characters and this world over eight episodes, I’m really hoping for a chance to experience more of it and learn more about everyone involved.
Will There Be A Season 2 Of Dispatch?

I just finished the first season of Dispatch, and wow, I’m already wanting more! The eight episodes wrapped up a lot of things – like finally seeing Robert track down Shroud, and figuring out where InvisiGal would end up – but there’s still so much potential. So many storylines and character relationships could be explored further, and I’m really hoping they make a second season. No official word yet, but fingers crossed!
There’s growing optimism for a second season of the game, with developer Nick Herman mentioning they’re now seriously considering it. He said a few weeks ago it was uncertain, but now it’s a ‘cool problem to have.’ Aaron Paul, who voices the main character, also expressed his hope for multiple seasons, telling his co-star he’d love to continue working on the game.
The team behind the game is eager to make a sequel, and with the huge success of Dispatch, both AdHoc and Critical Role have a strong incentive to do so. This is especially promising considering how much players are enjoying Dispatch on consoles and Steam. Even though some people might be getting tired of superhero stories, Dispatch proves that the genre can still be great when it’s made with skill and attention to detail.
Why I Need Dispatch Season 2

I absolutely loved Dispatch. As a longtime fan of superheroes and TellTale Games, it exceeded my expectations. I appreciated that the game offered opportunities to make difficult choices, which made choosing the heroic path even more rewarding. The combination of smart team strategy and compelling character writing completely immersed me in the story and world. Plus, my ending left me feeling optimistic about what the future holds.
While the story feels complete on its own, several unanswered questions about the city and the Z-Team have me eagerly anticipating a sequel. I’m really invested in seeing what happens next for these characters – how they cope with success, or struggle under pressure. I’m especially hoping to see the relationships develop, like the blossoming romance between Robert and Mandy, or the unexpected friendship between Malevola and Waterboy. I’m also curious about what Roid will create next, how Chase learns to control his powers, and how Phenomaman deals with his emotional struggles. I really enjoyed the characters and how they both fit into and challenged traditional superhero tropes.
I’m really excited to explore new villains and dangers in Los Angeles. Now that Shroud is gone, there’s space for all sorts of threats in a potential second season of Dispatch. We could see magical enemies connected to Malevola, forcing our tech-focused heroes to clash, or even an alien invasion that brings military complications for SDN. A storyline about government interference could also be interesting, highlighting the realistic office dynamics that made the first season so good. There are tons of directions a Dispatch sequel could take, and it’s great to know other fans are hoping for it too!
