Does Shania Twain Have “Beef” With Brad Pitt? She Says…

Don’t get Shania Twain wrong, she thinks Brad Pitt is all right.

I’m so glad to hear it! Our country superstar finally confirmed there are absolutely no hard feelings between her and that famous actor, even after she mentioned him in her hit song, “That Don’t Impress Me Much,” over twenty years ago. It’s great to see them both doing so well and apparently putting any past things behind them.

In an interview on the Wood & Woody radio show on October 26th, the 60-year-old stated, ‘I’ve never actually met him. And, you know, there are many Hollywood celebrities I haven’t met. He probably thinks that’s impressive.’

In her 1997 song, Shania Twain mentions a famous Formula 1 racer’s name after describing the qualities she doesn’t want in a man.

“Okay, so you’re Brad Pitt?” she sings. “That don’t impress me much.”

Shania said she thought of the famous actor’s name while writing the song because Playgirl magazine had just published nude photos of him.

Shania Twain explained that she playfully targeted Brad Pitt because he was incredibly popular at the time. She remembered thinking everyone was obsessed with him, especially after nude photos were released, and figured he’d be someone who could handle a little teasing.

Even after reaching out, Shania believes he handled the situation well and would be willing to discuss it if he ever wanted to.

She jokingly asked on the Wood & Woody show, “Does he always manage to find me?” She added that he clearly doesn’t need to put in much effort, and that he probably has a great sense of humor.

Shania Twain’s lighthearted, ongoing joke with Brad Pitt has even made its way onto social media. She recently commented on an Instagram post celebrating Pitt’s 60th birthday to wish him well.

Shania Twain commented on a December 2023 post showcasing photos of Brad through the years, writing “That don’t impress me much, but Happy Birthday!” and adding a kissy face emoji.

I always love hearing about Shania and Brad getting along, but honestly, I’m way more interested in the drama! So, I kept reading to find out which celebrities really don’t like each other…

In January 2024, Bobby addressed speculation about a disagreement with Tan, following his announcement in November 2023 that he was leaving Queer Eye after eight seasons. (Bobby is pictured second from left.)

I was so relieved to hear him say that he and Tan are doing okay. He told Vanity Fair that they went through something personal, but it’s completely separate from the show and definitely wasn’t a romantic thing. It sounds like they’ve been dealing with it for a while, and I’m glad they’re handling it privately. It’s good to know it won’t affect the show, and honestly, it’s a relief to hear they’re both alright.

In March 2024, Tan addressed claims that he tried to get his friend Jeremiah Brent to replace Bobby on the show Queer Eye.

We did a thorough search for the right actor. I didn’t recommend my friend for the role, but they ultimately got it because they were the most talented. And to be clear, I didn’t help them get the part by pushing anyone else out of consideration,” he explained on Instagram.

After years of speculation about a conflict between them, Holly Marie Combs, Shannen Doherty’s former co-star on Charmed, revealed in a December 2023 podcast episode that Alyssa Milano supposedly gave a show producer an ultimatum: choose her or Shannen. Combs claims this led to Shannen’s departure from the show in 2001.

In a February 2024 Instagram post, Alyssa stated she couldn’t get anyone fired and that stories circulating about past events were simply inaccurate retellings of things that happened a long time ago.

You know, I was at MegaCon Orlando recently, and someone asked about some of the stories surrounding our work. I wanted to be clear: from my perspective, and what I experienced firsthand, the core truth of what we created remains unchanged. There’s no need to rewrite history – the story we told is the one we all lived through.

Shannen passed away in July 2024 after a yearslong battle with cancer.

During a September 2023 game of “Stir the Pot” with her daughter Kelly Osbourne on TopMob News, Sharon Osbourne described actor Danny Masterson – known for his role in “That ’70s Show” – as the rudest celebrity she’d ever encountered. She called him a “rude little boy” and a “dastardly little thing.”

He did not respond to her remarks publicly.

You know, I remember when Ashton Kutcher was on The Talk back in 2014. I was chatting with Larry King a few years later about it, and I mentioned that Ashton seemed a little put out when I accidentally mispronounced his name on the show. He definitely had a bit of an attitude about it, and it stuck with me!

She remembered him asking, ‘Who are you and what have you accomplished in this field?’ She responded sharply, telling him, ‘Don’t underestimate me, because I will completely overwhelm you.’ She essentially warned him, ‘You have no idea who you’re talking to.’

In August 2022, Cassadee Pope and Maren Morris publicly disagreed with Brittany Aldean, wife of country singer Jason Aldean. This followed a post Brittany shared on Instagram on August 23rd, where she thanked her parents for not allowing her to transition during a phase where she preferred traditionally masculine interests, stating she enjoyed her current feminine lifestyle.

In a 2022 TikTok trend, JoJo Siwa called Candace Cameron Bure the “rudest” celebrity she’d ever met, explaining that Bure once turned down her request for a photo on the red carpet. Soon after, Cameron Bure apologized, saying she regretted hurting Siwa’s feelings when she was younger and admitting, “I feel terrible that I didn’t take a picture with you, JoJo, and I’m really sorry.”

Candace and the other person resolved their differences. However, when asked months later if her network, Great American Family, would ever feature same-sex couples as the main characters in its holiday films, she stated that wasn’t the plan, explaining that the network would continue to focus on portraying traditional marriage.

JoJo, who publicly shared they are part of the LGBTQ+ community in 2021, responded to the actress’ comment on Instagram, calling it “rude and hurtful to the entire LGBTQ+ community.”

In June 2021, Courtney Love claimed that Olivia Rodrigo had copied the album cover art for Courtney’s band, Hole, in a promotional photo without giving credit. Olivia responded with a supportive message, saying, “Love u and live through this sooooo much.” Courtney then playfully replied, “Olivia – you’re welcome! My favorite florist is in Notting Hill, London! DM me if you’d like the details! I’m looking forward to receiving your message [winking face emoji].”

While on Watch What Happens Live, the Happy Days actor explained the reason for his difficult relationship with the Forrest Gump star while filming their 1989 movie, Turner & Hooch.

I directed the film for thirteen days, and then Jeff Katzenberg, the producer, called me into his office and told me to pack up and go home, as I had everything I needed with me, he said.

Oh my gosh, you will NOT believe how much Mr. Winkler ADORES Hanks’ dog! He seriously gushed about it, saying they got along so well and that he just…LOVES that dog. It was the cutest thing ever, honestly!

He also refused to admit if he’s even seen the flick.

“You know what you did!”

Those who watched The Hills likely recall Lauren’s famous line from the start of season three. The drama between her and Heidi began when Heidi started dating Spencer Pratt. It escalated when Lauren claimed Heidi and Spencer spread a false rumor about her and Jason Wahler, alleging she had made a sex tape with him.

Tyrese and Dwayne Johnson had another public disagreement after the release date for Fast & Furious 9 was moved to April 2020. On the same day, a spin-off movie featuring Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham was announced for 2019. Shortly after, Tyrese said he would leave Fast 9 if Dwayne Johnson was still involved.

Tyrese recently discussed the conflict with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, telling Van Lathan on The Red Pill podcast that they still haven’t spoken directly, but he hopes to. He did, however, talk to one of Johnson’s producing partners, though not Johnson himself.

Tyrese admitted he was the one who publicly shared frustrations on behalf of others involved with the franchise, and he takes responsibility for that. He said it wasn’t a professional or appropriate thing to do.

No more bad blood here.

Taylor Swift and Katy Perry had a long-running public disagreement, rumored to be the inspiration behind Swift’s song “Bad Blood.” The conflict, which supposedly began because of a disagreement over a dancer and competition between their concert tours, was resolved when Perry sent Swift an actual olive branch as a peace offering before Swift’s Reputation Tour began.

Taylor shared in an Instagram video that she found a real olive branch in her dressing room, saying it meant a lot to her.

Taylor captioned the video, “Thank you Katy.”

For years, Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker, stars of Sex and the City, dismissed rumors of a disagreement. However, those rumors resurfaced when Kim chose not to participate in a third movie and subsequently made some pointed comments about her co-star.

During a September 2017 episode of Watch What Happens Live, Andy Cohen asked Sarah Jessica Parker how she felt about Kim Cattrall telling Piers Morgan that they were simply colleagues and not friends.

She was deeply upset, saying she was just heartbroken. They had talked about it all week, and she found it really disturbing because her memory of what happened was completely different.

It’s definitely sad, but I believe what truly connects us is the shared experience we had. It started as a professional collaboration, but over the years, it became something deeply personal. I’m hoping that the strength of those years and the special connection we all felt will outweigh any recent disagreements. Being a part of something so meaningful for so long was a real privilege.

And though they didn’t film scenes together, Kim did make a small appearance on And Just Like That.

Oh my god, can you believe it? This whole thing with Elton and Madonna started way back in 2004! I was absolutely shocked when, while accepting an award, Elton just exploded about Madonna. He basically called her out for lip-syncing, saying something like, ‘Madonna, best live act? No way!’ And then… well, he said anyone who pretends to sing live should basically be… well, he said something really strong. I mean, 75 quid to see a show and they’re not even singing?! He was furious, and honestly, a little part of me agreed with him. It was such a dramatic moment, and it kicked off this whole feud that’s still talked about today! I’ve been following it ever since.

The actress, formerly known for her role on Grey’s Anatomy, caused a disagreement with the show’s creator back in 2008 when she asked to no longer be considered for an Emmy Award. She explained her decision by saying she didn’t believe she had been given strong enough storylines to justify a nomination.

Shonda Rhimes discussed Katherine Heigl’s departure in a 2012 interview with Oprah Winfrey on Oprah’s Next Chapter. She admitted it was both painful and expected. “When someone consistently shows you their true colors, you should believe them,” Shonda explained. “I’ve really taken that to heart, and it’s been a valuable lesson for me.”

The fight between Nicki and Cardi at the Harper’s Bazaar Icon party during New York Fashion Week made headlines everywhere. A month later, Cardi explained what started the argument with Nicki.

Cardi B recently told W magazine that another person has been repeatedly criticizing her. They had talked twice before and seemed to resolve things, but the criticism continued.

The conflict really escalated when Cardi B noticed Nicki Minaj had supposedly reacted to a tweet criticizing Cardi’s parenting, though Nicki claims she didn’t actually engage with it.

Cardi B explained that she chose to be with her daughter instead of pursuing a very profitable Bruno Mars tour, potentially earning millions. She emphasized her strong love for her daughter and pride in being a good mother. She also responded to criticism about where she encountered another artist, saying opportunities like that don’t come around often, and she wouldn’t expect to run into someone famous casually.

The conflict between Kanye West and Taylor Swift began in 2009 when he interrupted her acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards. They later reconciled and became friends, but their relationship fell apart in 2016 after Kanye released his song “Famous,” which mentioned Taylor by name.

Just before the Grammys in February 2025, Kanye West began following only Taylor Swift on Instagram. He didn’t offer any explanation for this action, and Swift didn’t publicly acknowledge it.

“I don’t know her.”

The supposed rivalry between Mariah Carey and Jennifer Lopez has been talked about for over 15 years. It began during an interview when Mariah was asked about other singers, and when asked about Jennifer, she famously said, “I don’t know her.”
