Travis Kelce‘s mother can’t imagine anything more wonderful than her son marrying Taylor Swift, and she secretly rejoiced when they announced their engagement on August 26th.

On August 27th, Donna updated her Facebook banner with a combined image of Taylor, aged 35, and Travis, both of whom are also 35 years old, from their elementary school days. In the picture, Taylor is pictured leaning against a prop tree, while Travis poses in a flannel against a blue studio backdrop.

Indeed, it’s apparent that the 72-year-old woman, who is Jason Kelce’s mother, had unintentionally revealed some news earlier than her son and “The Life of a Showgirl” singer did. She expressed joy about Travis being ‘very happy,’ a few days before they officially announced this significant milestone themselves.

According to Donna, she shared in an August 25 article that his decision appears to be final. She added, “I can only share that he seems tranquil and focused, with a clear sense of purpose. He seems to know precisely what he aims for.

At that stage, however, it was disclosed by Travis’ father Ed that the NFL player from the Kansas City Chiefs had proposed earlier than expected. In an interview with ABC Cleveland on August 26, he mentioned that “Travis made the proposal approximately two weeks, not quite, ago.

Instead of waiting until the NFL season started on September 5 to unveil a significant event, the star was prompted by his family and even Scott Swift, Taylor’s father, to reveal it sooner rather than later.

According to Ed, during his interview on The Jimmy and Nath Show on August 26th, he stated that Scott had asked, “When are you finally going to wrap this up?”. Ed elaborated that Scott was planning a grand spectacle for the event. In essence, Scott was questioning the timing, while Scott himself suggested it’s not about where it happens but what makes it unique and memorable.

Following Travis’ gesture of kneeling down and retrieving a ring, the families on both sides found it difficult to suppress their happiness. In essence, Ed explained that everyone had a feeling this moment would occur since they had never witnessed our children looking as content before.

Consequently, he shared that he felt slightly let down because he wasn’t able to gift her one of the handmade bracelets he prepared for her.

Following his mishap, which Travis himself would label as “rock solid” in hindsight, he boldly extended an invitation for the Grammy award-winner to catch a Chiefs game at Arrowhead Stadium.

He mentioned on The Pat McAfee Show that he made an invitation, essentially tossing the challenge her way. He told her, “You’ve given fantastic performances at Arrowhead Stadium before, now it’s your turn to come witness me performing there and we can see who makes the stage more energetic.” So, let’s wait and see what unfolds in the upcoming days.

Travis sported a mustache, having grown it for the first time in August at training camp, when he was initially met by Taylor.

In his reflections on that period, he mentioned, “For a while, the mustache and the number 87 jersey were quite iconic, and I wore them when I first encountered Taylor.

By early September, it was reported by a reliable source to TopMob News that Travis and Taylor had been exchanging messages occasionally.
