Even though fans are eager for details about Persona 6 after the recent teaser, Atlus has indicated they won’t share much information until Persona 4 Golden’s re-release is available.
Kazuhisa Wada, director at P Studio, recently announced they’re officially working on the next Persona game – Persona 6. He shared in a press release (via GamesRadar) that the team is excited to reveal their work on the game after the release of Persona 4 Revival.
The newest version of the game will be released on February 18, 2027, so don’t expect to see any official details for at least eight more months. Considering the original Persona 5 was released on the PS3 back in 2017, another eight months isn’t so long to wait!
Currently, we understand that Persona 6 will continue the series’ tradition of following a group of high school students balancing everyday life with battling demons. However, the initial trailer hints that this new installment will be more serious and have a darker atmosphere than previous Persona games.
Persona 6 lets you experience the everyday life of high school – making friends, finding romance, and creating lasting memories. However, a hidden darkness lurks beneath the surface of this normal world, filled with strange rumors and unsettling events that only you and your trusted friends can investigate.
Next week, there will be a livestream showcasing the story and gameplay of Persona 4 Revival. It’s good news for fans, as they’ll have a highly anticipated game to enjoy when it releases in February 2027.
