Don’t Worry, Dawnwalker’s Got a Range of Difficulty Options Despite Its Hardcore RPG Design

Blood of Dawnwalker aims to be a demanding role-playing game where your decisions truly matter, and time is always a factor. Expect tough battles that will really test your skills.

If the game seems too challenging or not challenging enough for you, don’t worry! The developers, Rebel Wolves, have included plenty of difficulty options to customize your experience.

According to a recent Game Informer article (reported by MP1st), the studio founder, Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, shared that the game will have four difficulty settings: Story, Normal, Duelist, and Nightmare.

It’s fairly straightforward, but the important thing is he’s also saying there will be extra options to customize the difficulty level you choose.

So, it looks like you can adjust things like how much damage attacks deal, how much health characters have, and other parts of how the game plays.

The game also includes an optional “omnidirectional” blocking feature. If you prefer not to use the timing-based parry system – which is similar to the one in Kingdom Come: Deliverance – you can turn this on. It does use more stamina to keep things balanced, but it’s available if you want a simpler blocking method.

It makes me curious to see how much players will be able to customize the game. I wouldn’t be shocked if they let you change other gameplay elements too, like how quickly Coen’s health—represented by his blood meter—recharges.

Okay, so just wanted to say, Dawnwalker is looking really good based on what I’ve seen. It’s still on track to launch on the PS5 on September 3rd, and honestly, that month is already looking packed with awesome new games!

What are your initial thoughts on The Blood of Dawnwalker? Do you think you’ll use the different difficulty options? Please keep the discussion civil in the comments!
