Lovely Hellplace and DreadXP have announced that the open-world RPG Dread Delusion will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One starting March 17th.
The game Dread Delusion was initially available on Steam in Early Access starting June 15, 2022, and officially launched on May 14, 2024.
Here is an overview of the game, via DreadXP:
Drawing inspiration from beloved adventure games of the ’90s and early 2000s like King’s Field and The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, Dread Delusion offers a beautiful, retro art style and classic RPG gameplay. Players can customize their character and explore a large, immersive world. The console versions, launching on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4 & 5, and Xbox One & Series X|S, will include all the improvements and content added during the game’s Early Access period on Steam, such as Hard Mode, airship customization options, and the Creature Island area.
Dread Delusion is an open-world RPG that feels like a classic adventure from the early 2000s, but with a unique, retro visual style. Players will enjoy a compelling story and a richly imagined world filled with quests that have multiple endings. You’ll have plenty of freedom in how you play, exploring diverse locations, completing intricate questlines, and interacting with interesting characters. Whether you prefer fighting, talking, sneaking, or using magic, there are many ways to overcome challenges. Your choices genuinely matter and will impact the story’s direction, allowing you to create a character and playstyle that suits you.
