DREADMOOR to be published by Digital Vortex

Dream Dock’s horror fishing game, DREADMOOR, is coming to PC via Steam in the fourth quarter of 2026, and Digital Vortex will be the publisher, the two companies revealed.

Dream Dock CEO Rostislav Fedorov announced that their project is much more than just a game about fishing during a disaster. He explained that working with Digital Vortex Entertainment will help them create more content, improve the game’s concept, and share the unique and intense world of DREADMOOR with players worldwide.

Alex Izotov, CEO of Digital Vortex Entertainment, explained that his team was impressed by Dream Dock’s vision for the game – a compelling blend of Lovecraftian horror and post-apocalyptic survival. He believes it’s a truly special project and Digital Vortex is thrilled to help share this dark and visually striking world with players.

Here is a brief overview of the game, via Digital Vortex Entertainment:

DREADMOOR immediately captured the attention of players who enjoy immersive, dark adventures. Within 10 days of being announced in April 2025, over 40,000 people added it to their Steam wishlists, and it’s already among the top 600 most-wishlisted games on the platform – all with very little promotion so far. This enthusiastic response suggests a bright future for the game, which is currently planned for a full release in the fourth quarter of 2026.

DREADMOOR is a scary, first-person adventure game where you fish. Players explore a flooded, dangerous world, both on land and underwater, catching all sorts of strange creatures. It’s inspired by games like DREDGE, Metro Exodus, and Resident Evil, and combines a gripping story with psychological thrills, crafting, and satisfying fishing gameplay.
