Dwayne Johnson Throws KATSEYE Party for Daughter Tiana’s 8th Birthday

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is one gnarly girl dad.

I was so excited to see Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson celebrating his little girl, Tiana’s, 8th birthday! He shared some pictures from the amazing party he and Lauren Hashian threw for her – it was all themed around her favorite, KATSEYE, and looked absolutely incredible. It’s so sweet to see how much they dote on her!

Dwayne shared a heartwarming Instagram post on April 20th, showing how much effort the couple put into celebrating a special occasion. He included two videos from the event, one of which showed him carrying a homemade cake to his daughter while he, Lauren, and her friends sang “Happy Birthday.”

The party was decorated with lots of purple KATSEYE items, like posters, banners, balloons, plates, napkins, and a sparkly backdrop.

The cake, decorated with a KATSEYE theme, was a real highlight, and Dwayne made sure everyone had a chance to admire it.

The video ended with a close-up of the cake, which featured the girl group’s hit song “Gnarly” written on top. It also had a sparkly purple number 8 candle, a miniature sandwich, and a birthday card from KATSEYE. Pink icing around the sides of the cake displayed other song titles, including “PINKY UP” and “Gabriela.”

The second video shows a sweet moment before the party: Tyrese Gibson’s oldest daughter, Jasmine, age 10, carefully decorating a birthday cake for her sister.

I just loved when Dwayne gave us a peek at that amazing dessert! Then, he turned back to the camera and did a perfect chef’s kiss – it was such a sweet moment, and it really showed how much he enjoyed it.

He wished Tia a happy birthday in a social media post, writing that his 8-year-old daughter is a source of love, joy, and laughter, and that she’s always willing to try new things and work hard. He ended with, ‘We love you, baby girl!’

Dwayne, who also shares 24-year-old Simone with his ex-wife Dany Garcia, is well-known for embracing his role as a father to daughters. He previously went viral after proudly showing off a makeover his daughters had given him, proving he’s a champion at being a ‘girl dad’.

He shared in a video that when you reflect on past choices, you often think, ‘That worked out well,’ or wonder, ‘What was I even thinking?’ He then jokingly added that having a large head has been surprisingly useful, providing plenty of space for his chickens to express their creativity – and decorate him in the process!

Even with purple eyeshadow smeared all over his face, gold glitter on his eyes and neck, and a smudged, pale lipstick, Dwayne stayed cheerful and took it all in good spirits.

He playfully encouraged the mothers, saying, ‘They grow up fast, so let’s do this!’ and then confidently declared, ‘I’m not afraid!’

He now wants his daughters to be just as fearless. He’s described Tiana and Jasmine as energetic and very expressive, and hopes they’ll embrace those qualities.

I’ve always loved what Ryan said about how he and Lauren want to raise their kids. He explained in an interview a while back that they really believe in creating a world for them without limits – a place where they know they can truly achieve anything they set their minds to. But he also added something really important: he wants them to be adaptable and open to different paths along the way, which I think is so smart.
