Robert Irwinis speaking up for one of his flock.
Three weeks following Bindi Irwin’s revelation about her “earnest recovery” after a long, 13-year struggle with endometriosis, the 21-year-old, who is Steve and Terri Irwin’s son, provided an update on how she has been coping.
According to Robert, he shared with TopMob News on Sept. 3 that she’s managing well. He explained that dealing with Endometriosis is a long-term challenge as it’s not something that can be easily resolved.
Over the past two years following her endometriosis diagnosis, Bindi has had several operations to eliminate lesions and an ovarian cyst. Endometriosis occurs due to abnormal tissue growth outside the uterus.
In his interview on TopMob News tonight at 11 p.m., Robert emphasized that it’s crucial for discussions to prioritize women’s health, which has often been overlooked and understudied throughout history. He encourages advocates, both men and women, to speak up and raise awareness about this important issue.
Apart from influencing his activism, his close relationship with Bindi has been instrumental. In fact, Robert confessed that he took a considerable amount of guidance from his sister for the dance competition series, where she triumphed in 2015 along with her partner Derek Hough.
Robert conveyed, “She advised me to ‘put your best effort into it, but have fun and make it unique,’ which I am eager to follow. Her radiance on the dance floor filled me with immense pride as the most proud little brother imaginable. That’s why I’m participating, that’s why I’m taking part in this event.
Meanwhile, Bindi has expressed her excitement for her brother to be joining the ABC series.

Robert, you’re going to truly excel on the dance floor,” she posted on Instagram after your casting in April. “I can’t put into words just how proud I am of you and all that you’ve accomplished.
I can hardly contain my excitement to support and encourage you every week! Your courage, compassion, and resolve truly inspires others. Here’s to a remarkable adventure that lies ahead!
Read on to see who all will be competing on season 34 of Dancing With the Stars.
