EA appears to be planning to release its new sports games on more platforms. According to reliable leaker Billbil-kun from Dealabs, EA Sports College Football 27 will be available on PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store, in addition to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Although EA hasn’t officially confirmed a PC release yet, a listing for the PC version briefly appeared on Amazon.
Billbil-kun has confirmed reports that EA Sports College Football 27 is planned for release on PC. Sadly, it appears the game will not be available on the Nintendo Switch 2.
The PC version of EA Sports College Football 27 will likely cost the same as the PlayStation and Xbox versions. The standard edition is expected to be $69.99, while the Deluxe Edition will be $99.99. European players may find the PC version is slightly cheaper – €69.99 for the standard edition and €99.99 for the Deluxe Edition, compared to €79.99 and €109.99 respectively on consoles.
If you pre-order the Deluxe Edition, you’ll get some extra perks, like 4,600 College Football Points, 3 days of early access, special challenges you can play on your own, bonus items for your Ultimate Team, and extra points for Dynasty and Road to Glory modes. The PC version of the game is scheduled to release on July 9th, the same day as the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S versions.
According to Billbil-kun, Madden NFL 27 is scheduled to launch on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2 on August 13th. The PC version will be a digital-only release, but physical copies will be available for the console versions.
These details emerged right before EA’s official presentation of EA Sports College Football 27 and Madden NFL 27. Announced last week, the presentation will offer an in-depth look at both games, including new features and updated player lists. EA plans to present both titles as part of a single, unified showcase, promising fresh game modes and exciting new gameplay elements.
I was so excited to hear who made the cover of EA Sports College Football 27! For the standard edition, they’ve got Oregon’s quarterback Dante Moore, Miami receiver Malachi Toney, and Ole Miss running back Kewan Lacy. If you get the Deluxe Edition, the cover will feature Texas linebacker Colin Simmons, Notre Dame cornerback Leonard Moore, and USC quarterback Jayden Maiava. And how cool is it that legendary coach Curt Cignetti is on there too? It’s a great lineup!
If you’re excited for the next EA Sports College Football game, check out our review of the previous version. We gave it an 8 out of 10 because of its extensive customization, realistic gameplay on both offense and defense, and incredibly detailed college stadiums – and that’s just the beginning!
