EastEnders airs Queen Vic twist amid Elaine Knight collapse in early iPlayer release

Elaine felt incredibly angry when Linda Carter (played by Kellie Bright) explained her intention to leave for good, and Linda herself was uncertain about actually following through with this decision.

In this situation, Linda’s son, Johnny (played by Charlie Suff), encouraged her to hold firm in her decisions. With Elaine finding it essential to remain where she was but also owing money to her estranged husband George (portrayed by Colin Salmon) for his investments in the pub, she requested that Johnny serve as a silent partner to help her with this financial obligation.

Johnny declined, and Linda became increasingly frustrated with Elaine, as she continued to vent, while her mother was kicking everyone out.

When Elaine collapsed, though, Linda was worried sick and apologised.

Initially, Elaine said she was having a panic attack, but later, she endured another fainting spell. In response, Johnny dialed emergency services, yet the ambulance arrived somewhat late.

Recognizing that Elaine was experiencing a heart attack, promptly, Callum Highway (played by Tony Clay) intervened, utilizing his profession to expedite assistance.

While Linda expressed to Elaine that she wouldn’t sell the property for her benefit, Elaine eventually understood that being a landlord didn’t compare to the importance of being a mother for her.

While waiting for medical assistance to arrive, Elaine disclosed that it was now appropriate for the two of them to relinquish control over The Vic.

But as a new era beckons for the pair, will Elaine be OK?
