Martine McCutcheon has hinted she might come back to EastEnders, even though her character, Tiffany Mitchell, was famously killed off in 1999.
However, this is Walford, where dying doesn’t always mean you’re gone forever.
Several famous characters from the soap opera, including Den Watts, Kathy, and Cindy Beale, have surprisingly come back to life after being thought dead. Plus, other residents have shown up as ghosts.

Later this month, viewers will see the return of familiar faces Pat (played by Pam St Clement) and Barry Evans (Shaun Williamson) in a special episode focusing on Nigel Bates (Paul Bradley). As Nigel’s dementia progresses, he reaches out to his longtime friends for help.
But could a comeback for Queen Vic barmaid Tiffany be on the cards?
Martine explained to Metro that she hasn’t had time to reflect on things, as she’s been fully focused on making the most of the opportunities she’s been given and continuing to grow.

I’d only consider revisiting the project if the timing was right and the story was truly compelling. It would have to be exceptional to avoid disappointing fans.
The actor explained that taking on the role again would be challenging, as the character was so iconic and it would be easy to not do her justice. However, they’d absolutely consider it if the circumstances were right, because they really enjoyed playing her.
She was a completely free spirit – brave, energetic, and a really fun character to portray. I’d be thrilled to revisit the role, honestly, but only if the project felt right.

Earlier this year, Bianca Jackson (Patsy Palmer) reminisced about her friend Tiffany while unexpectedly running into Grant Mitchell (Ross Kemp) near The Vic pub.
Bianca strongly criticized Grant, Tiff’s husband, for how he had behaved towards her as their marriage was ending.
Okay, so if you remember, things got really messy. He had an affair with her own mother, which understandably led her to pack up and leave with their daughter, Courtney. But the drama didn’t end there! As she was leaving, rushing out into the night, Frank Butcher – Mike Reid, you know, the actor – came around the corner and, tragically, hit her with his car. It was a huge moment, a real shocker back then.
