Shane Richie hinted that Spencer, Alfie Moon’s brother, might be appearing on EastEnders soon.
Christopher Parker played the character who was on the BBC soap opera from 2002 to 2005. During that time, he was central to several major storylines, including a one-night stand that resulted in Vicki Fowler (Scarlett Alice Johnson) becoming pregnant, and being blackmailed by Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner).
Spencer left the show without appearing on screen. His family told everyone he had moved to Australia to live with a relative.

Even after all this time, people still talk about Spencer, and Alfie recently went to check on him. Alfie was worried because Spencer was upset about Vicki (now Alice Haig) getting engaged to Ross Marshall (Alex Walkinshaw).
The Moon family has had a dramatic week. Jake returned and surprisingly brought his ex, Chrissie Watts, back to Albert Square. He’s hoping she can help them figure out what happened to Anthony Trueman.

As fans of the show are aware, Chrissie wasn’t involved in the murder. His daughter, Jasmine Fisher, played by Indeyarna Donaldson-Holness, committed the crime and then falsely accused her mother, Zoe Slater (Michelle Ryan), to cover her tracks.
With Jake back on screen, fans are now hoping to see Spencer make a return as well. Richie hinted at the possibility of more family members joining the show during an event for Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club.
TopMob has contacted an EastEnders spokesperson for comment.
He told The Sun that they are thoroughly researching the Moon family’s history and plan to feature some of its members again.

Alfie has just departed for Australia to visit Spencer, so it’s uncertain what will happen next or who will return.
Parker probably won’t return to the role, as he’s now a lawyer who negotiates contracts for well-known TV personalities.
As a long-time soap fan, I’ve definitely seen characters played by different actors before. It’s not uncommon, actually! For example, Barbara Windsor wasn’t the first Peggy Mitchell – someone else played her before. And more recently, Jenna Russell took over the role of Michelle Fowler for a couple of years between 2016 and 2018, following in the footsteps of the original actress.
