A new development concerning Elaine Knight, played by Harriet Thorpe, is about to be shared by the police, following her recent mistake on EastEnders.
Lately, the landlady of The Queen Vic, Elaine, consented to let teenagers Denzel Danes (Jaden Ladega) and Joel Marshall (Max Murray) have a sip of an alcoholic beverage mix.
However, rather than taking just a couple of glasses as intended, the boys ended up stealing the whole pitchers instead. Consequently, the young children they were looking after drank from these pitchers and became unwell.
In a fit of anger due to her poor decision, Elaine’s daughter and business partner, Linda Carter (played by Kellie Bright), attempted to rectify the situation.
Given that Elaine was unsupportive and Linda had to focus on her recovery, it was unexpectedly decided by Linda to put the pub up for sale.

With Elaine strongly against the idea, Linda makes plans to sell her own half of The Vic instead.
Tensions run high as Elaine tries to change Linda’s mind, leading to a row.
Elaine notices her distant husband George (played by Colin Salmon) talking to a frustrated Linda, and she suspects they might be planning something secretive, possibly against her, because it seemed like they were discussing things from her mother’s perspective.
Since Elaine can’t convince grandson Johnny (Charlie Suff) to join as a silent partner, the tension between her and Linda momentarily subsides as the police arrive on the scene.
There to discuss the illegal serving of alcohol to the underage, the officers have some news.
With things going from bad to worse for the warring women, what will the police have to say?
Regardless of what follows, Elaine is bound to put Linda and Johnny into a state of alarm when she unexpectedly faints, not long after ejecting all the patrons from the pub and initiating yet another dispute.
As Elaine later suffers a second collapse, will she be OK?
According to The Sun’s latest report, it appears that Kat Moon (played by Jessie Wallace) is planning to purchase “The Vic” pub. However, at this point, this information hasn’t been formally verified yet.
