Life Day, a holiday from the original 1978 Star Wars holiday special, is almost here on November 17th. Disney Store is celebrating with new merchandise, including replica lightsabers of The Stranger and Baylan Skoll. They’ll also have an electronic Chewbacca figure and adorable Loth-Cat plush toys that Star Wars fans will love.
First up is the Chewbacca Life Day action figure, designed after the traditional Wookiee clothing worn during the Life Day celebration. In the world of Star Wars, Life Day takes place at the Tree of Life on the Wookiee planet of Kashyyyk. Disney says this figure will also talk! The incredibly detailed Loth-Cat plush toy will include sound effects too. From the preview photos, it looks very realistic and cute.

The new Chewbacca Life Day figures and Loth-Cat plush toys will be available for purchase at The Disney Store starting November 17th at 8am Pacific Time / 11am Eastern Time. Be aware that a virtual waiting room might be used, and popular items, especially the lightsabers, could sell out quickly.
Star Wars Life Day 2025 Lightsaber Releases
The Disney Store’s Life Day collection will include a lightsaber hilt modeled after the character The Stranger, played by Manny Jacinto in the Disney+ series The Acolyte. Additionally, a Baylan Skoll lightsaber hilt will be available for separate purchase. This is separate from the limited edition 4000-piece Baylan Skoll and Shin Hati lightsaber set released earlier this year for Star Wars Day, which was based on the Star Wars: Ahsoka series.
We don’t have all the details about features and prices for the new Stranger and Baylan Skoll lightsabers yet, but you’ll be able to order them starting November 17th at 8am Pacific Time / 11am Eastern Time, exclusively at The Disney Store.
