If you haven’t heard yet, model Elsie Hewitt is currently dating Pete Davidson, who is well-known for his numerous relationships and was previously a cast member on Saturday Night Live. So far, her experience with Davidson has been favorable, as things appear to be going smoothly during the summer months. The 29-year-old recently shared a picture of their early summer moments, which features them both on a boat – not on the Staten Island Ferry that he co-owns with Colin Jost.
Though Davidson and Hewitt were first spotted together back in March, their relationship is blossoming. Since then, they’ve been out and about together, and just last month, he bought matching watches for $31k as a surprise gift so that the lovebirds could match. Her Instagram post with the non-famous watercraft brings similar vibes to the table. Among the 17 slides of summery fun, ranging from fireworks to seasonal treats, the young couple is pictured together on a speed boat–check it out for yourself:

Concerning her post titled “Some happy and grateful moments that helped me get through a strange, chaotic month,” these instances indeed appear delightful. There’s no denying the joy strawberries, tomatoes, pizza, or cake can bring when viewed alongside fireworks or on the water. However, upon closer look at those photos, it seems they weren’t just taken on one but two vessels, neither of which bears the unfortunate nickname “Titanic 2.”
It tickles me to witness him navigating a smaller vessel, yet I secretly hope he’s cherishing these moments with his beloved too. To be clear, this image brings a chuckle after following the ups and downs of the notorious Studio 8H heavyweights. Despite Davidson sharing tidbits about the ferry acquisition earlier in the year, it seems everyone involved has had their fair share of jests or becoming the subject of jest regarding this matter.
I find it amusing to see him sailing a smaller boat, but I hope he’s enjoying the ride with his girlfriend too. To clarify, the picture makes me laugh after keeping track of the highs and lows of the well-known Studio 8H stars. Even though Davidson has shared updates about the ferry purchase earlier this year, it seems everyone involved has had fun or been made fun of regarding this boat.

I, a dedicated fan, can’t help but share the exciting news about Pete Davidson and Colin Jost’s Staten Island Ferry. In just one week, it has undergone not one, but two updates! And let me tell you, the latest transformation is nothing short of thrilling – they’ve turned it into a ‘Screamboat’! Isn’t that amazing?
During SNL’s 50th season, Quinta Brunson’s recurring skit unexpectedly featured Jost, who criticized the collaborative effort. It’s worth noting that even Scarlett Johansson, Jost’s wife, has taken jabs at the ferry in her Weekend Update segments. In contrast, The King of Staten Island appears to be taking a more neutral stance on the grand venture and seems to be sailing smoothly amidst the ferry’s relatively calm waters.
To rephrase, it’s great to learn that this renowned duo is taking a break from their career pursuits. Interestingly, this applies even more to the co-owner of the boat, considering his numerous upcoming projects in the 2025 film guide: “Dog Man”, “The Pickup”, and “The Home”. Apart from his work on the Titanic 2, let’s hope for a new photograph of Hewitt and Davidson on their refurbished Staten Island Ferry one day.
