According to them, this will help ensure a more fair price point for everyone involved.
Steam often adjusts game prices based on location. This means people in some countries may be able to buy games for less, making prices fairer overall. However, how much prices change depends on where you live.
Depending on where you are in the world, game prices can sometimes be lower than if you converted the price from another country. However, some players may find that games are much more expensive in their region.
This change also affects ARC Raiders, though the impact will be less noticeable now.
Ossen, the community lead for ARC Raiders, announced on Discord that they’ve lowered the game’s price in several regions to make it more affordable for everyone. The new price is effective immediately.
Players who bought the game in the affected regions will receive an automatic refund. Please allow a few days for the refund to appear in your account.
So, the developers have made the game more affordable in a bunch of countries! I’m really glad to see they’ve lowered the price in places like Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Peru, the Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand, Ukraine, Uruguay, and Vietnam. Hopefully, that means more people can jump in and play!
You can track price changes for ARC Raiders on SteamDB. The SteamDB statistics show which prices have been reduced – look for the items with a negative green percentage.
In India, the game will be about 31% less expensive than its price in the United States. ARC Raiders is scheduled to launch on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC on October 30, 2025.
