Emilie Kiser Shares Rare Family Photo 9 Months After Son Trigg’s Death

Emilie Kiser is keeping her family at the forefront.

The influencer recently offered a personal update, sharing how her family is coping nine months after the tragic accidental drowning of her 3-year-old son, Trigg, in their backyard pool. Her husband is Brady Kiser.

On February 2nd, Emilie shared photos on Instagram from her trip to Carmel, California, with her son Brady, 11-month-old Teddy, and some friends.

Emilie, 27, shared a photo of her family online. The picture showed her and her husband smiling at a beautiful view, with their baby, Teddy, in his stroller. She playfully covered Teddy’s face with a bear emoji to protect his privacy. The photo had a red plaid background.

I’m loving this peek into Emilie’s life lately! She just shared a bunch of photos – a real mix of fun with friends, gorgeous scenery, and some beautiful solo portraits. I even did the filming myself, along with my amazing team, Brie and Madi. It’s all about capturing those real, everyday moments, and I’m so happy to share a little slice of that with you all.

Emilie rarely shares photos of her family since the heartbreaking loss of her son in May 2025. She initially stopped using social media after his death, but she started posting on TikTok again in September.

Okay, so Emilie just gets it, you know? She wasn’t going to fake being okay when things were clearly tough, and honestly, that was so refreshing! She said she needed to protect herself and decide what she was comfortable sharing, which is totally fair. But the best part? She still wants to reach out and help people who are going through the same things. It just proves how amazing she is, even when she’s hurting, she thinks of others. I’m so proud of her for setting boundaries and being real!

She said she hoped returning and sharing her experiences would help her reconnect with her audience and support others facing similar challenges. She also mentioned that talking about it was personally healing for her, and while she enjoyed connecting with people, she wasn’t sure exactly how often she’d be able to do so in the future.

Since then, the TikTok creator has openly shared her experiences with grief, talking about both the good and bad days, and how she copes with guilt. She also regularly posts videos showing moments with her family on TikTok.

She explained that after a loss, one of the biggest challenges isn’t just the sadness, but learning to let yourself experience joy again. It’s about allowing yourself to simply feel whatever arises – sadness, happiness, anger, or anything else – and accepting those emotions without judgment, just sitting with them and being okay.
