Emmerdale star on newcomer Celia: “She’s a force to be reckoned with”

Natalie J. Robb has stated that the latest addition to Emmerdale, Celia Daniels (portrayed by Jaye Griffiths), is someone who should not be underestimated or ignored.

In my recent cinematic experience, I found myself captivated by the debut of a character named Celia. She made her initial appearance as a farmer, a figure familiar to vet Paddy Dingle, played skillfully by Dominic Brunt. However, an encounter between them, prompted by an unfortunate incident involving a ferocious canine attack on Paddy that occurred on Celia’s land, unfortunately didn’t go as planned.

We’ve known for a while that Robb’s feisty alter ego Moira Dingle will also cross paths with Celia.

“She’s quite hostile, she’s very rude when we first meet her,” said Robb of Celia.

She essentially communicates, “I understand you require funds, and I’m interested in leasing your farm at a very low rate,” to which I respond, “I’m afraid that’s not an option for me.

Initially encountering difficulties, Moira and unrepentant Celia eventually find their relationship improving – however, an unexpected turn of events unfolds in the story.

Later, she adopts an unusual tactic, becoming friendly with her, and it turns out that Moira ends up liking her quite a bit.

I find myself in a situation where someone seems to be trying to undermine me, possibly with the aim of forcing me out. However, the question remains: will I succumb? After all, I am no pushover – I’m a formidable presence that demands respect. Going up against me is not an option casually taken.

Although it’s clear that Moira doesn’t spare opponents, we haven’t witnessed Celia in a difficult situation yet. Will Moira outmatch the other farmer or could Celia turn into an unexpected ally instead?

Let’s observe how things unfold regarding their relationship, as Moira’s troubles seem to escalate next week. In light of these difficulties potentially ending her time on the Butler’s Farm set, the actress has expressed her feelings about such a possibility.

Robb stated, “My character has been around for 16 years, so it seems quite unusual if anything were to change.

I’m somewhat optimistic that something positive might emerge from this situation. It would be great if beneficial outcomes arise, such as generating new ideas for plans or providing assistance to her. After all, in similar circumstances, good often comes about.

I’d hate to part with it, for it’s an excellent tool for our work. Personally, I’d be sad to let go of it, and I think Moira feels the same way. I can’t say what else she might do without it.
