I’m so excited! Amplitude Studios just released *Endless Legend 2* on Steam Early Access! It’s been about 11 years since the first game, and this one takes place on a completely new planet called Saiadha. I’ve already checked out the launch trailer – it looks amazing!
Like Auriga, Saiadha experiences unpredictable weather, including intense monsoons and the Tidefall – a dramatic drop in sea level that reveals previously hidden lands. Because there are no ships in the game, this event creates opportunities for different groups to connect across continents, adding excitement to the later stages of play.
The early access version of *Endless Legend 2* features five playable factions: the Kin of Sheredyn, the Last Lords, the Tahuk, the Necrophage, and the Aspects. Each faction has its own special abilities and units. During a game, you’ll also find minor factions, hire heroes, complete quests, and experience improved turn-based battles, among other things.
After the game launches, we’ll be adding a sixth playable faction, as well as multiplayer and the ability to create custom factions. We don’t have a release date for these additions yet, but we’ll share more information in the coming months, including details about mod support and compatibility with the Steam Deck.
