Epic Games Store is kicking off its December 2025 free games promotion! December is always a big month for free games on the Epic Games Store, with many titles given away to celebrate the holidays. This year’s event starts next week on December 11th, but you can grab two free games right now that will be available for the next seven days.
For a limited time, you can get two games for free on the Epic Games Store! Until the morning of December 11th, both The Darkside Detective and The Jackbox Party Pack 4 are available to download at no cost. These games, originally released in 2017, normally cost a combined $40, so it’s a great deal for Epic Games Store users. The Darkside Detective is a point-and-click adventure where you play as a detective solving a tricky case. If you enjoyed Universe for Sale, which was recently free on the Epic Store, you’ll likely enjoy this one too.
This week’s standout freebie is definitely The Jackbox Party Pack 4, often considered a highlight of the entire Jackbox series. A new installment comes out every year, but fans especially love the fourth one. If you’re looking for a fun game to play with friends and family during the holidays, The Jackbox Party Pack 4 is a fantastic choice and well worth grabbing while it’s available for free.
You can watch trailers and read official descriptions of The Darkside Detective and The Jackbox Party Pack 4 below to see if these games appeal to you.
The Darkside Detective
Get ready for a strange and thrilling ride with the Darkside Division! They’re on the case in Twin Lakes, investigating everything from truly weird mysteries to seriously dangerous situations. Whether it’s monstrous tentacles, zombie gangsters, or even just a lost sock, The Darkside Detective is up to the challenge.
Detective Francis McQueen works where the strange and sinister thrive – dealing with cults, demons, and all things occult as the lead investigator for the severely underfunded Darkside Division. Whenever evil surfaces in Twin Lakes City – whether it’s a full-blown invasion or just lurking in the shadows – he’s the one who takes the cases everyone else avoids.
The Jackbox Party Pack 4
Okay, so the latest installment of this party game series is seriously awesome! It’s got Fibbage 3, which is already a blast, but they added a new way to play called Fibbage: Enough About You. Plus, there’s this crazy online game called Survive the Internet, a hilarious monster dating show, a totally wild debate game called Bracketeering, and a drawing game where you try to build on each other’s art with Civic Doodle. Basically, it’s packed with fun new ways to play with your friends!
