Hades isn’t just skilled in raising the dead; he also owns the Helm of Darkness, which lets him become invisible and create overwhelming fear – powerful enough to stop someone’s heart. He also controls all the world’s valuable metals and gems, giving him a unique power that no other god possesses. As the ruler of the dead, Hades has a powerful and ever-present influence in the Percy Jackson stories, earning the respect – and even fear – of his brothers, Zeus and Poseidon.
2) Poseidon
Percy’s father, Poseidon, is the powerful god of the sea. He controls the oceans with a force as immense and unpredictable as the water itself, able to cause huge waves, earthquakes, and even hurricanes. When Poseidon is upset, the earth can literally shake. This incredible power makes him a threat to his brother, Zeus, because Poseidon rules most of the planet – both its surface and what lies beneath.

In the stories, his Master Bolt is legendary, far surpassing any modern weapon in destructive force. This immense power ensures that both the gods and the Titans obey him.
Zeus maintains his power through his position and the fundamental rules of the cosmos. He controls the actions of the gods and keeps the worlds of mortals and immortals separate. Though sometimes suspicious and inflexible, Zeus’s ability to take away a god’s immortality or imprison them in Tartarus demonstrates that his decisions are absolute, establishing him as the most powerful being in Greek mythology.
