As the week wraps up, a fresh wave of titles is hitting streaming services. Netflix, in particular, has a diverse lineup coming soon, including new series and films. Plus, several popular shows are releasing multiple seasons, and viewers can look forward to both a reboot of a classic talent show and the final season of a much-loved reality series.
Netflix is bringing back the classic talent show Star Search on January 20th! Hosted by Anthony Anderson, the reboot will be judged by Sarah Michelle Gellar, Jelly Roll, and Chrissy Teigen. Like other competition shows, viewers can vote for their favorite performers, but you’ll need to tune in live using a compatible device like a smart TV, streaming stick, or the Netflix mobile app.
Looking for a new show to watch? All seven seasons of the crime drama Rizzoli & Isles are now available on Netflix. Starring Angie Harmon (known from Law & Order) and Sasha Alexander, the series originally aired on TNT from 2010 to 2016. It follows the partnership between Boston detective Jane Rizzoli (Harmon) and Chief Medical Examiner Maura Isles (Alexander) as they use their skills and contrasting personalities to crack tough cases.
