You might have seen some gaming news this week about MIGHTREYA, an anime-style action game that’s scheduled to be released on PC later this year.
This game’s title is reminiscent of My Hero Academia, and puts you in the shoes of Reya, a high school student who’s also a superhero with dreams of becoming a top content creator.
Unlike many popular livestreamers on YouTube who are often caught up in drama or trying out new trends, she stands out by doing something completely different: battling giant monsters in exciting, high-flying fights.
The game feels like a blend of Zenless Zone Zero and Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero. It’s important to note, however, that this is a complete, one-time purchase indie game – not a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
As we previously noted, the game is currently confirmed for PC only, and will be published by 505 Games. However, the developer, Wazen, has stated on social media that they plan to release versions for consoles – including PlayStation 5 – if the game performs well.
Honestly, this game looks amazing, and I’m really hoping it does well on PC. I’m also crossing my fingers that the PS5 version doesn’t take forever to come out!
