In the sneak peek trailer for Season 24 of Family Guy, there’s a scene where Lois and Stewie watch a bouncing DirectTV logo, and shortly after, Stewie speaks, causing Lois to finally understand he’s talking. In a comically relatable moment, they immediately argue and squabble during their first genuine conversation, providing an amusing glimpse into what may lie ahead for them. Since their dialogue seems to be facilitated by drugs, it could just be a fleeting instance, but there’s potential for this encounter to ignite a larger storyline in a future episode.
It’s been unclear throughout the series of Family Guy whether other members of Stewie’s family can understand him, but it’s particularly puzzling when it comes to Lois. Previous seasons include instances like Stewie repeatedly calling for “Mama,” and later in the series, Lois doing the same to Stewie. The “Stewie’s First Word” episode even showed Stewie communicating with the family to some extent. This instance seems to follow that pattern.
When Does Family Guy Season 24 Come Out?
As I stand here, eagerly waiting, it appears that “Family Guy” Season 24 is slated for release next year, although Fox hasn’t provided a specific timeline or date just yet. Regardless, we can expect fresh episodes to grace our screens throughout the rest of this year. Excitingly, Hulu has announced that they’ve commissioned two more holiday specials for Halloween and Christmas, similar to last season. So, fans can look forward to enjoying these specials later in 2021!
Brian and Stewie find a lack of good Halloween songs, so they attempt to compose a hit tune. Meanwhile, Peter and the gang discover that lying about trick-or-treating could result in serious trouble.
